Uninstall R from Mac OS X

(1) From the terminal: 
sudo rm -rf /Library/Frameworks/R.framework

(2) delete the R application from "the Applications" folder

  1. Hello. I tried this but get

    rm: /usr/bin/R: Permission denied
    rm: /usr/bin/Rscript: Permission denied

    Any suggestions?

    1. You are a little newbie. If you aren't an admin user, you can't do this.
